Sri Aurobindo College has played an integral part in my life's journey. The opportunities that I was able to grasp during the three years I spent there helped shape my future. One specific opportunity was X-culture. As a fresher, X-culture made me aware of the professional standard and capacity I needed to develop so that I could stand with my peers on international grounds. The practical experience made me aware of the possibilities that I could seize. The Sri Aurobindo and X-culture name has always given me a competitive edge and led me to where I am today. After graduating, I worked for 2 years as a Financial Analyst, and now I am pursuing Masters of Science in Management from Northeastern University, Boston.

I am forever grateful for the experience and guidance I received from the professors at Sri Aurobindo College.

One of the best phases of my life has been spent at SAC(E). It was being a part of the college fraternity where I learned to take part in initiatives and make them a success. The guidance of the teachers led me to believe in myself.

The knowledge gained at college, especially as a member of Enactus helped me to start various social initiatives and scale them nationally and internationally. It gave me the confidence and skill set to participate in various international programs and work with the government to lead and implement national strategic programs.

I owe it all to my formative years spent at the college and my peers here, who always motivated me to do be better than the best.

I have read this quote that “The value of a college education is not the learning of many facts but the training of the mind to think by Albert Einstein” and today when I think of this quote after more than 6 years passing out from Sri Aurobindo College Evening, I find it appropriate. This is precisely why I am so grateful for the three years I spent in the Commerce Department at Sri Aurobindo College Evening.

Walking -in as a fresher with no direction and walking out at the end of the 3rd year with a job in hand is probably the best transformation a person can get. It’s not only about studies or grades, but it’s also about all-around development and that’s what my professors from the commerce department preached and followed. When I look back at those years what a wide spectrum I got from expert professors like Sumati Verma, Archana Aggarwal, Rovika Prem, Vibha Batra and amazing Batch mates with different mindsets to Projects of Anterdhwani like Adopting village to educate people.

During my professional career,I was able to practice all the learnings that I got to be the best version of myself. Although every subject in some way or the other helps you,however International Business,Financial Management/ Cost Accounting and Business communication are the ones that played a crucial role in my growth in the organization.Am blessed to be guided by the most committed,patient,knowledgeable and caring professors from the commerce department.
